The beauty of Crossroads of the World lies in the architectural details included in the original plans.
In its new chapter, every detail will be preserved while breathing new life into the walls and pathways where great talent once gathered.
Building 1
This building boasts Venetian arches and columns, a loggia and a beautiful wrought-iron gate.
Building 2
Features stained glass windows, decorated “trompe d’oeil” shutters and a fleur-de-lis atop one of the chimneys.
Building 3
Characterized by red tile roofs, arches, shutters and balconies with wrought-iron grilles.
Building 4
Features colorful hand-painted tiles, red tile roofs and unusual windows.
Building 5
The ship features curved corners, red ship railings, porthole windows, rounded doors and numerous flat, horizontal surfaces. A central pylon supports a rotating globe with neon letters spelling “Crossroads of the World.”
Building 6
Features half-timbering, dormer windows and turret towers. There is also a lighthouse facing on to Selma Avenue with a functioning revolving light.
Building 7

Pointed Arabic archways, a minaret and stenciled geometric designs.
Building 10
Includes high-pitched, shingle roofs and chimneys.
Bullinger Building
Historic Romanesque building designed in 1923 by architect Ray L. Jones. Features brick-enclosed arched windows, decorative wrought-iron railings and round cast-stone medallions.
Hollywood Reporter
Originally built in 1924 and redesigned by architect Douglas Honnold in 1936. Regency Moderne style includes a concave entrance with fluted concrete, marble cladding and large bronze medallions.
